Art and Photography Workshops in Vermont

Chris Triebert and Carol Ross are the design and photography team of Rock River Studio in South Newfane, Vermont. In their studio setting along the magical Rock River, Chris and Carol lead summer retreats and year-round classes in art, photography and graphic design.

Women's Art + Photo Retreats

Rock River Studio offers a casual, creative environment where you can shed the tasks of everyday life and unwind in the beauty of Vermont. Stay in our beautiful cabin by the river, enjoy homecooked meals, a dip in the river, and the company of other women while delving into the process of art making. Explore new approaches to painting and drawing, and traditional and alternative methods of photography. All levels are welcome. Retreats are kept to a maximum of four people, allowing for personal attention and lots of good conversation.

Year-Round Classes

Regularly scheduled classes in a variety of mediums are offered throughout the year. Enjoy working in our skylit studio filled with lively music, an abundance of supplies and good comaradarie. All levels are welcome.
